From the folk who brought you The 10 Cases just over the road, Parsons is our unassuming little fish restaurant tucked away in Covent Garden. We offer a wide range of seafood, freshly landed fish, as well as more classic fish dishes inspired from the British Isles and beyond.

About

We opened Parsons in December 2017 after many years of daydreaming about opening what we imagined to be the archetypal, platonic ideal of a British fish restaurant in the city.

Having opened the 10 Cases across the road a few years earlier we felt ready to create a small and unassuming fish-focussed restaurant, where simply prepared plates of beautiful, seasonal fish and shellfish sit in perfect harmony with what we think is one of the best wine lists in town. The sort of place where you’re just as happy dropping in for a plate of oysters and a glass of Canadian Riesling as you are going all in on a whole roasted turbot and a bottle of white Burgundy. We think we’ve got pretty close!

The name is in tribute to our mothers who, as fate (or luck) would have it, were both Parsons.

Menus

  • “I’m intoxicated by the food. Some great restaurants are anticipated with sweaty expectation. But every now and then a place like Parsons comes seemingly out of nowhere and delivers plates of food you just can’t forget. By the way, did I mention the chips?”

  • “I chose gurnard, which too often gets fiddled with by chefs, masking its rich, buttery flavour or compromising its meaty texture. Two hefty fillets were as close to perfect as I’ll ever admit”

  • “I view nearly all the dishes as irresistible”

  • “The Inverawe smoked salmon served with Guinness bread, might be impossible to better in town ”

  • “Probably the best seafood restaurant I’ve had the pleasure of visiting for a very long time, somewhere that approaches the business of serving fish and shellfish alongside an intelligent wine list ”
